NEw faculty support
Pinkerton Academy offers a strong support system designed to make sure that new teachers are not left to struggle on their own. New faculty benefit from a comprehensive program that starts with orientation days focused on setting teachers up for success in their classrooms and at Pinkerton. The New Faculty Committee meets twice monthly throughout the first year to provide continuous mentorship and professional learning. These sessions cover everything from classroom management and special education accommodations to "Holiday and End of Year Socials," ensuring teachers have the practical skills and the social support needed to succeed at Pinkerton.
