  • How can I contact the librarian?

    Ms. Pratt can be contacted by email at [email protected] or [email protected]. You can also always find her in the library!

  • What are the library hours?

    The library is open every school day from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students may not enter the library before 6:30 a.m. or remain in the library after 3:30 p.m.

    There may be times when the library is closed for other reasons. We will communicate any planned closures ahead of time.

  • How many books can I check out?

    You can check out up to 25 books at a time!

    We recommend checking out only as many books as you can keep track of. If you have an overdue book on your account, you will not be able to check out additional books until the overdue book is returned.

  • Are there library fees?

    We do not charge late fees! However, if a book is never returned or is returned in a condition that prevents us from placing it back into circulation, you will be charged for the cost of the book.

    Any fees will be posted to your MySchoolBucks account.

  • How do I find books?

    You can search for books using our online catalog.

    You can also always stop by and ask one of the library staff to help you find what you're looking for!

    If we don't have the book you're looking for, we may be able to request it from another library, or Ms. Pratt may purchase it for our permanent collection. Ms. Pratt loves student book requests, so don't hesitate to ask!

  • How can I go to the library during the school day?

    We would love to see you in the library!

    Students are welcome to come to the library during their study period. To come to the library, you must first check in with your study teacher and be issued a full-period Library Securly pass.

    The library has a limit on how many students can be in the library during each block, so be sure to check in with your study teacher on time to give yourself the best chance of getting a spot!

    You can also get a 15-minute Securly pass from class if you need to return or check out a book or print something. Fifteen-minute passes are only for these library-related activities.

  • Do I have to do schoolwork in the library?

    Nope! While we think the library is an excellent place to catch up on schoolwork, you are not required to work on schoolwork while you're here.

    We have activities, crafts, puzzles, and games that you're welcome to enjoy while you're in the library!

  • Can I use the library during my assinged lunch?

    If you would like to come to the library instead of going to the cafeteria during your assigned lunch, your counselor must reach out to Ms. Pratt and receive permission for you to do so.

  • Can I use my phone in the library?

    No. Just like everywhere else on campus, students are not permitted to use their phones in the library.

    When you come to the library, you will be asked to place your phone in a Yondr pouch. If you are caught using your phone in the library, you will be sent back to study.

  • Do you have Chromebook chargers?

    We do! We have Chromebook chargers available for you to use while you are in the library.

    We also have mice available to borrow and wired headphones that you can keep.
