onboarding Team

Our New Faculty are led by a team of experienced educators who are there to support the New Faculty in their first few years at Pinkerton. Members of the team include:

• New Faculty Advisor
  • Attends and facilitates the New Faculty Orientation each year
  • Schedules and facilitates the New Faculty Committee meetings
  • Collaborates with rest of team and Dean of Faculty in assessment of efficacy of programs
• Second Year Advisor
  • Attends and facilitates New Faculty Orientation each year
  • Schedules and facilitates Second Year Faculty Committee meetings
  • Provides ongoing professional support and guidance
  • Encourages reflection on professional growth
  • Helps build connection, collaboration, and confidence among second-year faculty members
• Mentor Advisor
  • Attends and facilitates New Faculty Orientation each year
  • Schedules and facilitates Mentor Committee meetings
  • Supports and serves as a resource for mentors
• Support Services Advisor
  • School Counseling and Special Education Liaison
    • Collaborates with each advisor to help with programming to reach all stakeholders
• Site-based Licensing Liaison
