Monthly Update -April

April 28th, 2026 by Tim Powers

Good afternoon,

There are lots of great events coming up in May, including honor society inductions, arts performances, and award ceremonies. Be sure to check the website calendar for upcoming events and check in with your student.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and I hope you'll join us for Playing for Change on May 13th at 7:00 pm in the Stockbridge Theatre. Founded by alum Kaisar Perry to benefit NAMI NH, this student-led event is expanding this year beyond its traditional plays with a focus on how creative expression supports mental health. Student works and performances will include poetry, dance, music, and visual art.

The evening also features a partnership with the school counseling department's Prevention Night. Student speakers and a NAMI representative will discuss mental health warning signs and resources, while various community organizations will be available in the Stockbridge lobby to offer further support.

Before we know it, the end of the year and graduation will be upon us. To the Class of 2026 and families, enjoy this time. There are many things to keep track of, so pay attention to the messages Mr. Perez sends about senior events and graduation. You can also refer to the Senior Info - End of Year section on the website that keeps all of the information in one place.

I hope you get out and enjoy today's sunshine!

Sincerely,

Dr. TImothy J. Powers
