A Special Weekly Update

June 12th, 2025 by Mike Perez

Good evening, Pinkerton Community,

As the Associate Head of School, it is with immense pride and a touch of bittersweet emotion that I address you all as we approach the culmination of another academic year: Graduation. This time of year is always special, marking not only the end of one chapter but the exciting beginning of another for our graduating seniors.

Having a graduating senior myself this year, I truly understand the swirl of emotions many of you as parents are experiencing. There’s the immense pride in witnessing years of hard work, dedication, and growth finally pay off. We remember the first steps, the early school days, and now, suddenly, they are on the cusp of adulthood, ready to embark on new adventures. There's also a natural sense of "where did the time go?" as we prepare to send them off into the world. It’s a powerful mix of joy, anticipation, and a little bit of letting go.

As we celebrate the Class of 2025’s achievements, let's also acknowledge the incredible role you, their families, have played. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifices have been instrumental in their journey. This achievement is a true reflection of your dedication as much as their hard work.

We are so excited to honor our graduates at the upcoming ceremony tomorrow night here on campus. It will be a joyous occasion to celebrate their accomplishments and send them off with our best wishes.  While goodbyes are never easy, they are a necessary part of growth. We are confident that our graduates are well-prepared to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. They carry with them not just a diploma, but the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the strong foundation built here at Pinkerton Academy.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Respectfully,

Michael Perez
Associate Head of School
