Whiteface Weekend
About the Trip
The Pinkerton Ski Club is hosting a weekend trip up to Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, NY. We will be leaving on Friday March 6, 2026 and driving up to Whiteface using Pinkerton Academy’s mini-buses. We will be staying at the Ledge Rock hotel, at the base of the access road to Whiteface, Friday and Saturday night. The cost of the trip includes two nights of lodging, two full days of skiing, transportation, and three meals. We will be returning back to Pinkerton on Sunday March 8, 2026 by 7:30pm . Sign up deadline is Friday January 16, 2026. Please complete the registration form & pay the deposit to reserve your spot on the trip.
Please note that this trip is not for beginner skiers or snowboarders. Students who go on this trip should be intermediate to advanced skiers or snowboarders. Lessons and rentals are not offered with this trip, so students are responsible for bringing their own equipment with them.

SIGN UP PROCESS:
STEP 1 - Registration - All parents and participants must fill out the registration form (linked at the bottom of the page). This registration form includes the Parental Consent & Release Form and the Health Information form.
STEP 2 - Pay Deposit - A $150 deposit is required to secure your spot on the trip. If the deposit is not paid by January 16, we will open your spot up to another student on the waiting list.
- Deposits are payable by cash or check to Mr. Konstant in the Senior Office (English Building).
- Make the check out to Pinkerton Academy
- In the Memo section, please include the following information
- Whiteface Trip
- Student's Name
- Student's ID #
STEP 3 - Payments - Once registrations close, you will receive a link to MySchoolBucks to pay the remaining $200 for the trip.
There is a maximum of 27 students allowed on the trip. It is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we will take only the first 27 that sign up.
The last day to register for the trip is Friday, January 16, 2026.
Refund Policy:
The following is PA Ski Club's policy for refunds for any trip cancellations:
- Cancel 46+ Days prior to trip --> 100% refund
- Cancel 31-45 Days prior to trip --> 50% refund
- Cancel within 30 days of the trip --> No refund given
- If another student is found to fill your spot on the trip, then a full refund will be given.
