Pinkerton Academy Celebrates 95 Students Inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Pinkerton Academy's Career and Technical Education Center proudly announces the induction of 95 students into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for the 2023-2024 school year. These students have been chosen for their exceptional academic achievements, leadership qualities, and dedication to their Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Among them, there is representation from each of Pinkerton’s 18 recognized CTE programs.

To qualify for NTHS, students must be in the final year of their CTE program (Level 2), maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 (85) by fall progress reports, achieve a grade of 90 or higher in their CTE program by fall progress reports, and maintain the highest standard of personal and professional conduct at all times.

"We are thrilled to acknowledge these students for their hard work and dedication to their CTE programs," said CTE Director Jennifer Haskins. "Their commitment to education and passion for their chosen pathways is truly inspiring, and we look forward to witnessing their future accomplishments."

This year, both Pinkerton Academy’s Head of School Dr. Timothy Powers and New Hampshire Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut addressed the inductees, commending their drive and commitment to excellence in pursuing their career aspirations. Dr. Powers also reminded them to thank those who helped them along the way.

“We thank the families, faculty, and staff who have supported these students on their journey,” Dr. Powers said.  “The lessons learned and skills developed through these courses will stay with the students throughout their lives and wherever their careers may take them.”

The National Technical Honor Society represents the highest award for excellence in CTE education, and Pinkerton Academy is proud to have so many students recognized for their achievements. These 95 students embody the high standards of Pinkerton Academy's CTE programs, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to them on their induction into the National Technical Honor Society.
