What are some frequently asked questions that students and parents ask?   How do I make an appointment to see my counselor? You can email your counselor using the Pinkerton email  or you can stop at the School Counseling Office , in the Low building or the Academy building, and fill out an request form.   How many credits do I need to graduate? All students need 22 credits   How many credits in Math do I need to graduate? All students must have 3 credits in Math to graduate.  Beginning with the class of 2019, all students will need to take 4 years of math-focused classes. The requirement is still 3 credits but students will still need to have math each year. A list of qualifying courses will be provided soon.  

What is the last date for adding a new course for semester One?  The last date is September 6.

What is the last date for dropping a first term course? The last date is September 28.

What is the last date for dropping  a full year course? The last date is the end of Term 1, which is October 28.  

Can I change my lunch period?  Students cannot change their lunch periods. However, if there is a medical reason with a doctor's note indicating the reason for changing lunch, and your associate dean is in agreement, at that point lunch can be changed.

Can I change teachers? We do not change teachers unless a student had the teacher in the past and failed the course.
